Based on a true story, this feel-good, smart, and entertaining movie tells the tale of the rag tag “kids from the sticks” at Napa Valley’s Chateau Montelena who bested the French in the historic blind tasting competition in Paris, France in 1976. Starring Alan Rickman, Bill Pullman, Freddy Rodriguez, Chris Pine, Dennis Farina, Eliza Dushku and Rachael Taylor. See the movie, and uncork a bottle of chardonnay before or after. A perfect pairing.

Alan Rickman won Best Actor at the Seattle International Film Festival for his role in Bottle Shock, the Closing Night Gala film on June 14th! Bottle Shock was also the Opening Night Film for 3000+ people at the Maui Film Festival on June 12, and then tied for the Ensemble Cast Award with "The Great Buck Howard" starring Colin Hanks, John Malkovich, Tom Hanks and Emily Blunt!
